Livestock Management Assistance
The Grant County Conservation District is committed to providing technical and cost-share assistance for livestock management, on large and small scales to support the implementation of best management practices (BMPs) that protect water, soil and air quality.
We work with:

Dairies;
-
Feedlots;
-
Confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs);

Small farm operations; and
-
Agencies, etc.
We assist by:

Providing technical and cost-share assistance for projects, including enclosures, nutrient management, etc.;

Developing nutrient management plans; and by
-
Serving as a liaison between operators and agencies; etc.
